Purchase Inquiries

If you would like to purchase a painting you have seen available on my website, please send me your contact information via the form above or email [email protected]. You will have a choice to purchase it framed or unframed. If you are local to the Rockport, Texas area, you can come to my studio to see the painting in person. If the painting is in a gallery, then I will need to make the sale through them. If there is a reason you need me to hold the painting for you for a period of time, that can be arranged. If there are other circumstances to discuss, please do not hesitate to ask!

What is your commission painting policy?

On all of my commission paintings, I have a “purchase if you like it” policy. I don’t want anyone to be forced into buying a piece of art that they don’t love. Your painting will be one that I would not hesitate to enter into a competition or submit to a gallery. I won’t sell it to you unless I can be proud for it to be included in your art collection and displayed in your home, for my goal is to have you be very pleased and have something that will bring you pleasure for many years.

What does the commission process look like?

When I accept a commission, we first meet or talk on the phone, about what you are seeking, including color palette, size, and where you’d like to hang the painting in your home. Once I have a good idea of your desires, we may examine reference materials, or I may venture out in nature with my camera to collect ideas. There may be a “sneak peek” of an initial black and white small version to agree on the composition. Usually, after that I wait until the painting is finished, but not dry, to allow you to view it. Then if there is something that you wish to modify, it is easy for me to go back into the painting while it is still wet.

Do you offer out-of-state shipping?

Of course! If you live out of the area and need a painting shipped, I will carefully package it, weigh/measure the box and provide an insured shipping estimate via UPS or FedEx. I will notify you of the cost and if you agree, we add that cost to the total, and once I have received payment, I ship the painting and provide the insurance/tracking informaiton.

What methods of payment do you accept?

If you would like to purchase one of my paintings, I currently accept cash, checks, Venmo or Zelle for payment. If necessary, we can also discuss a “layaway” style payment plan and the painting will be released to you when paid in full.
